The CEO of @Merciportgroup, Rita James, while noting the improvement in our domestic LPG consumption, stated that the consumption is still too low compared to demand. She also speaks on the lack of extensive awareness on the benefits of LPG over fossil fuels such as kerosine etc for cooking. “If it is not affordable, it is not available,” according to Rita James who noted that LPG is unaffordable for many Nigerians therefore they purchase cheaper fossil fuels instead. #NIPS2021 #DecadeofGas
